You may be wondering what I've been up to since LiverKick sailed off into the sunset.
Taking care of my kids, mostly.
But remember that book I released back in 2015? I wrote a second one right after and spent a lot of time getting it right, until Lori got pregnant and, well, the costs of doing this all on my own were a lot at a time when I found out I was having twins and everything was going to cost a lot more than expected.
I still honed it and at a few different times swore I'd never do anything with it, that I was done with sci-fi and genre stuff entirely, etc.
Yet, here I am, in 2019, releasing said book along with a follow-up that I wrote this year. I wrote it during the kids' nap time and intentionally made book three more intimate and personal. While book two is a grand, galaxy-spanning adventure, book three is more insulated and claustrophobic.
It all opens the way for more books next year.
So, yeah.
