Man, that's tough about his trainer.
Wait, why is Kenta apologizing for breaking the streak. He still won?

I think he's apologizing for worrying the crowd. Feel like the fight was better for it though

It definitely was. No fun when nothing is at stake and it's not competitive.
Should still have been a title defense, though. I'll never stop bitching about that.

Since this is a hometown fight for Koji, the crowd is going nuts from the get go.

While Koji woke up in R2 he's still in trouble.

Oiwa is a serious opponent.

I'd go with Oiwa after three rounds.
I think they could get away with scoring this a draw, though.

Draw with one giving it to Koji lol.
We're getting an extra round. Whoever gave it to Koji should be slapped in the mouth.

Messy but wild extra round. I can actually get behind Koji getting the decision.

Koji defeats Oiwa Tatsuya by Extra Round Split Decision
Aside from the 1 idiot giving it to Koji after three rounds, I'm fine with the decisions made.

Very quick thoughts:
Disclaimer: I've missed a big chunk of the first half of the card which I still have to catch up on so I don't have the full picture.
+ For an event that seemed a bit smaller in the lead-up, this turned out great! + We got a nice series of KO's in the second half of the card. + Aitaka Ryo really did pull off the KO and surprise of the night. Scary. + Killer-Noiri + Kenta vs. Demirkapu - The fight overall and turnaround in R2! + Koji/Oiwa - while it was a bit of a messy brawl it was very entertaining
- Have champions defend titles in single fights. Always! - First half of the event was a bit light on KO's. - 1 judge giving it to Koji after three rounds LOL - The intermission, while very welcome, was a tad long for me. 15-20 minutes would be ideal.
If you missed this make sure to watch it on YouTube when it becomes available! I'm so glad I decided to tune in and not catch up on frivolous things like 'sleep' or 'rest'.
Thanks for joining, everybody!
