Very fun card!
Cool to see Kongolo and Plazibat back.
Düsseldorf is about an hour away from where I live so I may attend this.

Had missed Belgaroui vs. Bokeme was on this. That fight seems quite good to me for some reason.

Can someone tell me what is all this hype about Michael Smolik? Never heard of him until 6 months ago when people start talking about him and also appearing in my youtube recommendations.

I feel like even semi-celebrity is a bit of a stretch. The average German has no idea who Smolik is, but everybody over 30 knows Henry Maske and Axel Schulz.
Kickboxing just doesn't have that status yet in Germany. I like to compare it to how it used to be in Holland before Rico vs. Badr helped to make the sport more mainstream. All it took was a little race war, lol
On to Smolik as a fighter. He moves well for a guy his size and has some nice kicks, but his biggest accomplishment in 30+ fights is beating Daniel Sam. Nothing wrong with that, but it doesn't necessarily mean he's the next big thing. Let's see how he does against Abdallah and some bigger names if he wins that fight.
While I do like the card, I won't be attending this one after all. I'll definitely watch it live though as it's at a much more favourable timeslot compared to the last few Glory events.

LOL, I'm not sure if you guys are familiar with this phenomenon in the rest of the world, but in this part of Europe fake reality shows have become part of daily television.
I'm not even talking scripted reality where part of it is real. I'm talking completely made up, with fictional characters and stories, only filmed like reality.

Quick thoughts: + Grigorian/Beztati ending the event on a high note after the abomination that came right before it. + Menshikov/Kongolo - The fight + Despite my lack of enthusiasm for Micheletti vs. Susperregui, the fight actually turned out okay + Even though he fought way too sloppily, I like that Plazibat showed some fire again after some lackluster performances + Mozny showing a ton of heart and was competitive despite being hurt throughout most of the fight + Maslobojev's scissor knee knockdown of Rajabzadeh + Saładiak showing a ton of heart against Tuinov + Glunder having a good night
- Smolik/Abdallah - I liked the theme of 'Germany's best HW', but this was a joke and insult to the rest of the event. - Tavares/Duut not ending with a KO - Menshikov/Kongolo - The ending - A serious lack of knockdowns/knockouts - Aside from the nice knockdowns, Sadikovic/Traoré and Maslobojev/Rajabzadeh weren't very good
Overall a pretty good event that I would have rated higher if it wasn't for Smolik/Abdallah completely murdering the momentum.
