So, these are two very mediocre cards that would make a single decent one with 60% of the fluff removed.
Glory's US events aren't the best to begin with, so dilluting it even further makes little sense to me.
The only reason I can imagine for Glory doing this is they got a very good double deal on the venue and maybe were contractually obligated to put some of their guys in fights before the end of the year.
To end this post on a more positive note, sometimes cards that look weak on paper overdeliver.

Hi guys, Yes it was legit, not the best fight of Anissa. She explain on het FB page that she don't want to do this fight and try to "avoid" it but Glory threat her with lawsuit etc... She ends her message by "i want so much to tell more but i can't as i'm still in contract with Glory till april..." I thinks she is not going to be on the glory roaster after her contract ends... Still, Van soest's was better tonight ! Osu

Hi Brice!
It's unfortunate, but obviously Glory keeps shoving their US and other stable guys down or throats.
They were going to keep giving van Soest rematches with Meksen until she won one, kind of like Marat/Sitthichai. I'm also always against having a champ fight in the challenger's hometown. When it's very much a local promotion like SuperKombat or K-1 Japan I can kind of understand as they don't really have any events abroad, but with multiple annual Glory events in France, Glory is showing clear favoritism here.
Somewhat going against myself; there weren't really any other serious matchups to make once Meksen and Sitthichai cleared their respective divisions with one actual challenger left.

Having already seen most of the knockdowns/KO's on my Facebook feed this morning, I have no real interest watching any of this back.
