One of few times in the year I am looking forward to MMA more than kickboxing.

Some observations:
The three man team on commentating doesn't work. All three of them are good at what they do but none have enough room to do what they are good at. They were either talking through each other, or saying nothing at all when they recognized that they were talking through each other. Either Rogan needs to move towards the play by play role more and leave out Anik, or you need to choose between Cormier and Rogan. Or Cormiers role should be limited to statistics, round scoring and short analysis between rounds.
When I last followed MMA, Aldo and Faber were ruling the world. Times have changed. Yan made me a fan, and I thought Aldo won that fight. He had more significant strikes and he was pushing the fight. I was a bit scared that the judges would do the same to Volkanovski....
It was a bit distraught that in a 2019 title fight there would be a fighter with such a hole in their game as de Randamie has. Now I know she was a kickboxer for so long and the fact that she came this far in MMA is impressive, but anyone in a title fight should have better takedown defence and mobility from their back.
Usman - Covington was a nice battle. Covington rubs me the wrong way. After a bit of googling, I take it he's playing role of a prowrestling heel. Ok Colby, It's working: you're drawing my 'heat'!
Oh, and what happened to fighting on the ground in MMA? Where's the grappling gone?

Great night of fights. Its been a really long time since Ive watched MMA with English commentary and one thing that consistently annoyed me in watching this event was that whenever someone was backing up landing counters and occasionally taking shots on the gloves Rogan and DC were talking as if they were losing. This perspective just seems so ridiculous to me now. You would think the fans from the land that produced Floyd Mayweather would get this.
