I like that Shevchenko stays active and considering how thin the division is (and made by Valentina) Calderwood is a good option. She's only on a 1 fight winning streak, but she is 3-1 in her last 4... and she's cute.  Chefchenko will be a mad favourite, of course.

Like a farewell fight for both fighters would be great. Then Shogun can go to ONE and fight Belfort, Hell I can't believe they never crossed paths before.

Yeah, this is a good match up at this point of their respective careers and a good match to support a card, especially considering how terrible these cards looked recently, I will take this one for sure, and I also like it a lot better than Shogun/Lil Nog vs. an upcoming contender again.

On an interesting sidenote: Before this was announced and the event was still scheduled to happen, Dutch UFC broadcaster Veronica announced they wouldn't be airing any 'dark' UFC events because "they don't feel it's the right thing to do". Needless to say, they caught a ton of shit for that announcement on social media. I'm not sure how to feel about it. I fully agree with events being cancelled/postponed for the time being, but when an event is happening anyway, why act like it doesn't exist? I wonder about the sincerety of the reasoning by Veronica and their parent media group Talpa. Feels more like there is some sort of alterior motive, either financially or outside pressure. For one, Veronica shares a channel slot with Disney XD; Disney programming during daytime, Veronica programming after 6PM. I wonder if Disney had their hands in this as well.
