Good fight. I was expecting something like marshall which would have been disappointing. If Hari doesn't come injured into the fight and could actually train this time around then he should not have problems against benny. But at this point he could get injured again in the traning camp and not even be able to train just like what happened for his last fight against Rico. Badr has to prove that his body could still hold up going through a full training camp.

Could make for a pretty good year for Glory in the Netherlands. Don't know how a "solo carry Badr" fight will do on tv, but presumably better than the usual HW fights without Rico.
Then probably a 3rd quarter Rico fight with Saddik or if Benny beat Badr, rush a Rico-Benny fight there.
December year ender Rico-Badr big show again.
Hopefully they do well and can leverage that into some more revenue with more notable tv events too.

We only have one data point for a Badr Glory fight without Rico, but I don't remember Badr-Gerges doing that amazingly. They were on smaller tv then, but think Rico fights did same or a little better at the time. Will be interesting to see either way.

Figured. Saw a day or two ago Germany saying no large gatherings till end of August at least and thought likely something along those lines for the Dutchies too.

Just received an email from Glory that this is being postponed.
I like that Glory is doing this without needing outside intervention first.
Obviously sucks that this isn't happening, but this whole situation sucks to begin with.

Yup. They went about it fairly smart. Didn't trash it immediately with the 2 other events. Waited it out a little to see what was happening, but didn't seem to put a lot of resources into promoting it either while things were uncertain.
