One of the best fight of both men. Too bad that the last round was so clinchy, but they were obviously tired at this point. The crowd and atmosphere was fantastic.

Sato and Buakaw had one of the best rivalrys in the history of K-1. What made their 3 fights so interesting is that each fight was highly different and remarkable in its own way.
The first one in 2006 saw a dominant Buakaw, scoring one of his finest KOs in his K-1 career and a display of his improved boxing.
The rematch in 2018 was very well one of the most technical fights in K-1 MAX history. Both fighters were in tremendous shape and delivered an instant classic. If you ever want to see an angry and reckless Buakaw, the extra round is for your. (fights start at around 10:00)
However, the most memorable is the the third one that happened only 5 months after their second fight. Two hard fought rounds and then a jaw-dropping KO that shocked the world. It must be noted that in 131 listed fights at Wikipedia, this is the only KO loss of Buakaw. Chapeau, Sato! (fight starts at 20:00)
Their last encounter happened in 2013 in some kind of modified Muay Thai bout. In this one Buakaw scored a lot with throws and sweeps. A fairly decent fight, but not much else to talk about it, just a little bit of extra clash to an already great rivalry.

One of the first fights of the very first K-1 event:
Kiatsongrit is a crazy legend for going toe-to-toe with the heavyweights.

Here's something great; the Jerome LeBanner vs. Mark Hunt quadrilogy in chronological order:
Hearing the crowd react to Hunt knocking out JLB is definitely a goosebumps moment for me.
The crowd has an elevating effect in all those fights though.

Feitosa vs. Chalid Arrab @ Final 16 in Seoul. There were so many great fights in K-1, this is just another one, but a really good one.
