Some tidbits:
- Next event (GFC5) will be on March 12th, 2015.
- Overall the setup of the venue looked nice, though the ring looked kind of awkward. Can't really put my finger on it.
- LOTS of errors in the production/announcement department.
- Lazaar VS Tuivasa stoppage came way too early. Tuivasa was headbutting these heavy shots away like a champ.
- Samedov didn't look like himself against Ahmadi who had a real chance to do something here, but was just too tentative.
- Manhoef came to the ring to explain why he could not fight: he broke his hand. Oh you Manhoef, lying like a champ!
- Most fights were horrible. It didn't really help that the stream froze more often to the point of almost being unwatchable. Maybe the edited broadcast which starts in 30 minutes will look a bit better.

So, if the next event is in march, it means badr isn't going to fight for at least 1 year(jailtime) ?

His appeal starts in November I believe, so we just don't know at this point.

I didn't really got it: Why was Quarteron excluded from this event?

because he was a pissed off angry black man and badr got scared.

I didn't really got it: Why was Quarteron excluded from this event? "Official" Reason? Patrice didn't behave respectful leading up to this 'family event'. More likely to be the actual Reason? Hari's team wants Quarteron in Morroco for an allegedly huge event they're planning there. They feel a French speaking fighter who doesn't shy away from trashtalk is good to hype the fight over there.

BTW You have to realize that Ismael Lazaar just won +200k USD for beating up two nobodies.

That's insane. I read somewhere he was paid 400k and was shocked by even that number. Apparently all together he was paid ~2 million USD for winning the tournament at GFC3.
That means he made close to 4 Million USD with three extremely easy fights. That has to be the absolute record for kickboxing.

If badr will fight a decent opponent in GFC 4 , they will pay him like mayweather. LOL. Those arabs are out of their minds. It's incredible that he is paid so much and he still choose oppenents like patrice quarteron, Arnold Oborotov, Stefan leko or peter graham. Even someone like freddie kemayo would destroy badr hari's opponents.
Why doesn't he choose to fight fighters like Londt, Jamal Ben Saddik, Pavel Zhuravlev, Kharitonov, Morosanu, Ben Edwards or benjamin adegbuyi? All those fighters are free to fight everywhere.

The Arabs want a 100% guarantee Badr wins. The whole organisation is built around him. If Badr loses they will cease to exist.

I agree, but I think someone like Pavel Zhuravlev, Le banner, jarrell miller or Morosanu wouldn't be such a huge threat to badr hari and they have a name and are decent fighters.

It's completely logical. Why fight hard fights to make a mountain of money while you can make the same mountain of money fighting mismatches? Currently Badr doesn't even pretend he's in it for any kind of legacy, it's all about the dough.
