Harinck praised him a lot. In the ARJ is also praised. Raul is a phenomenon and popular internationally. "Unfortunately", he was present at 2 K-1 finals in Seoul (Final 16 events). At the 2nd youngest age after Badr Hari. In my opinion, Catinas rose to prominence only in 2013. 2013-2015 were his prime years, after he retired due lack of sponsors. Glory and Hemmers should have signed him then. It makes no sense what you said (his achievements beat that "Wikipedia irrelevance") and the fact that Catinas is not on Wikipedia. It is one of the most dominant heavyweights in Europe in the last 15 years.
On Wikipedia there are a lot of weak fighters and his victims (mostly with name). Hundreds of worse. At least dozens of worse heavyweights.
I suspect that there is persecution against Romanians, because many confuse gypsies with Romania. It's sad, because Catinas has many even from the US. No, not all gypsies come from Romania, only 3.5% of the total population. Romania takes its name from the people of Rome (see Dacia Felix, the Roman Dacia). We speak Latin sub-unit today, not Dacian. No, no logic at all! First of all Raul is very popular on Youtube and social media. Secondly, twice was in the top 16 heavyweights in the world.
Therefore I don't think Wikipedia is relevant. Where is Mohammed Jaraya? Josh Jauncey? Didn't he fight Sittichai for the title? And before K-1 was even more relevant than Glory and stacked, plus focused on heavyweight popularity.
Catinas would eat Cristian Ristea on breakfast. Maybe also Sebi Ciobanu but Son of Dracula was not really a heavyweight all the time.

I'm not gonna get into the insanity of it all, because clearly you'll never learn a goddamn thing.
But I have nothing against Catinas. In fact, I quite liked him when he was active.
However, he hasn't fought in five years and all we're getting is social media BS that nobody cares about. Well, almost nobody. You clearly do.

I sent you some messages guys about his situation. Nobody is perfect, but the guy is innocent in this case. Others swear and insult, this man never did that. No personal attacks from him, and if he ever had anything with someone it was because they were xenophobic. Or unjust, liars. That platform is already dying now. PS. There were some clones that were later banned for sending our friend death wishes. And of course he defended himself and replied privately. Months or even years ago. And now they twist words against a man who cannot defend himself. If someone shits on you, it's normal for you to answer... This is my opinion, the man felt threatened and was provoked! And he received the messages out of nowhere. People have reactions to these things. |
