Povetkin had COVID in november and was quite severe. He beat Dillian Whyte in august before contracting covid. Here he looked tired from the start of the fight... probably suffering from chronic fatigue from covid. Yet another fighter ruined permanently by covid. Worse part is that you will have chronic fatigue for the rest of your life.

It's awful.
I think with hard work and a lot of small incremental steps you may be able to return to your old level, but that takes time and for 41yr old Povetkin his career as a fighter is probably over at this point.

the average 20-35 years old guy that trains 6 months of striking probably crushes ben askren too. Askren moves like has has some sort of medical disorder, like he suffers of some locomotory medical problem. Combine that with the fact that he doesn't have any sort of footwork, head movement and doesn't even know to throw punches.
