Sorin Căliniuc (5-0) vs. Gabriel Bozan (32-5-2) - Colosseum Tournament World -70 kg Title
Căliniuc beat Milea, Salvador and Dzhaniev, and also Ostrovanu winning the -75 kg belt in the promotion. He's world champion in kenpo, and won in 2020 both the Romanian national championship and the Romanian cup titles in amateur boxing.
Bozan has lost only 1 fight since 2015, abroad, winning 9 out of his last 10 and becoming ISKA world champion. Bozan has several recent victims from China and Holland, including Dominique Pinas (via KO). In his last fight he schooled technical Maxim Răilean of Moldova.

Featherweight fighters Vlad Trif and Marian Lăpușneanu will meet in a title eliminator and a highly anticipated rematch of their bout from 2020. Trif is a young gun who won their previous fight, Lăpușneanu is one of the best Romanian featherweights beating Adrian Maxim last year.

Going to start Fight Box tryout today Just don't have huge expectations all the time from the beginning, the Romanian scene is now divided into several promotions! And this time the Colosseum Tournament does not even put all its stars. Young fun Marinescu is to be watched, because he wants to fight for Sofian's title even though he lost by KO in their first match. Căliniuc VS Bozan and Lăpușneanu VS Trif II should be the most competitive, and at Drăgan it remains to be seen how he will make the move (switch). Gafencu is also there. In the first part, I'm waiting to discover a new prospect, although not all the events had youngsters with great perspective. Still a solid card, with at least 5 interesting bouts. The undercard goes live as well. Lăpușneanu VS Trif might have been canceled, damn, Lăpușneanu again with extra weight. Last time he was deducted because of this and lost. |
