Overeem had a few moments in the first round where he connected a couple of hard left overhands which had Volkov a bit shook, but soon after Volkov took over and easily picked Overeem apart.

Everything that landed bothered Overeem and at this point in his career this is probably it.
He recently even said he'd instantly retire if he somehow won the belt.

Damm, overeem got destroyed here. It pains me so much to see one of my favourite fighters declining so much.

He's turning 41 and without horsemeat the Reem simply isn't the same fighter lol.

It's a shame, because he was close to the belt a couple of times.

He still had a great career though and won all the other belts that matter both in MMA and Kickboxing.
