Baya lost by split decision because one of the judges was Dutch. Paraschiv damaged him more, Baya was on the ropes in round 2, and probably the Romanian won round 1 as well. Round 3 wasn't sensational from Baya, and Paraschiv lost it because he didn't risk anymore or because of the fitness.
Clearly unanimous decision for me. We will next about Baya, ok? In the following 1-2 years. Because he lost some split decisions and you are not very aware he also lost to Dzhaniev and Skvortsov who are top 3 Russian lightweights in one of the best division of Russia now. He's with Sityodtong these days and isn't old.
Which fights were "very local level quality"? Morari, Kaffa and Popa are one of the best young featherweights in Europe. Kaffa was 20-0 with fights in China, Mix Fight Championship champion in Germany, beaten by a GFC/FEA guy. Many Japanese want Kaffa in Japan, just to known. Blijd might not be known by you but he fought in China at WLF, he is pretty solid. Michael Boapeah and Mustapha Hourri are potentially future top fighters, especially for Boapeah I guarantee. Local Răzvan Macioi is a great talent on his 18 years. Lofogo Sarour has good fights in Enfusion and ACB.
Fightbox, guys on the internet and everybody has praised the event. Unfortunately you skipped a very good event, and on Youtube for a reason they don't have Morari and Popa's fights. Nobody says it was really at the level of the Colosseum Tournament, it's after (under) COLOSSEUM, DFS and even OSS Fighters, but for GFC it looked great. And they put some nice fighters considering maybe OSS Fighters will focus on more mismatches in the next show.
Many guys on the card weren't even afforded by other promotions, including Melvin's. WFL only affords Dutchmen who fight in Moldova, not fighters linked to Romania, China etc. For me Colosseum, sometimes DFS, and even OSS sometimes (GFC not really but are close) are at the level of Enfusion. If you don't watch these promotions/show it's up to you. Not that Japan is so much better, at the level of Glory... I only seen a nonexistent ONE! And a very poor MMA on boxing's chapter.

Here we go again.
It's funny how you always come up with excuses. Now there was a biased Dutch judge. Apparently the whole world is corrupted except Romania.
How is it humanly possible that you never learn any lessons? Every time someone has something slightly critical to say about anything that's connected to Romania you get all bent out of shape and come up with these long stories that nobody on Earth agrees with, because nothing you ever say makes sense. How is something 'clearly unanimous' for you? It's like you don't even know what these words mean.
Dude, it's a smalltime show with young talent that's in no way, shape or form world class. Aside from the main event, this just wasn't high level kickboxing nor very entertaining. Most people wouldn't even tune in if it wasn't for Baya vs. Paraschiv. Hell, none of these Romanian promotions draw much attention. There is a little bit of coverage on BeyondKick and vechtsportinfo, because I'm pretty sure you spam the crap outta them.
I don't give a shit who praises the event as it won't change my opinion based on what I saw with my own two eyes.
And Japan isn't much better? Have you ever even watched a Rise or K-1 event? It's like comparing a Lada to a Mercedes and saying the Mercedes isn't much better lol. Don't you ever get tired of embarrassing yourself?

I am afraid you don't watch enough COLOSSEUM, the 25th event is up since a while. Apart from Lungu, that was the best event from (in) Europe watched by me in the past 2 years. In terms of fighters and matchmaking.
The Romanian scene is divided into 5 first tier Romanian promotions. GFC is the 4th promotion in terms of value in Romania, but they still put Paraschiv vs Baya, Kaffa vs Morari (one of the best U21 featherweights in Europe, Kaffa was 20-0), Michael Boapeah (possibly a future world class), Ionut Popa (another promising featherweight) and more.
Ok, we are Lada (Heerenveen) and others are Mercedes (Real Madrid, or former K-1 thieves). It's up to you what you watch, if you love midgets with more exposure from Asia. It's hilarous because I have watched Japan since about 25 years ago now.
I always speak the truth, so if you had a subjective opinion imo because of something, I must answer with my opinion. After the fall of Superkombat, the Romanian scene faced some problems, but now is stronger than ever. I didn't watch it entirely some years ago, but now it's entertaining. I don't think you appreciate too much the Romanian kickboxing, which is as professional now as the Dutch one. Romania has a full circuit, not just a league of midgets.
It's up to you what you are following, and you make free accusations like I am imposing in Holland what to write. When Benny KOed Badr you came up with excuses. Now you said Paraschiv didn't win clearly, I will post the fight immediately, and also with the punishment of Johannes Kaffa of Holland.
All I can say GFC are putting much better events than Melvin Manhoef with the WLF. You may have been upset on me, but at that time I spoke the truth.
Ok, let's end the discussion here and get along.

I am afraid you don't watch enough COLOSSEUM, the 25th event is up since a while. Apart from Lungu, that was the best event from (in) Europe watched by me in the past 2 years. In terms of fighters and matchmaking. And I'm afraid you live in a fantasy world. If you love these events that's great, but when you say that a Romanian event was the best European event of the past two years I feel like you're either deluding yourself or haven't really watched anything else. Every Glory event in Europe - even the previous disappointing one - was lightyears ahead of everything that has happened in Romania these past two years. Aside from you, I don't think anybody in the kickboxing community will disagree with this. It's up to you what you watch, if you love midgets with more exposure from Asia.Former K-1 thieves? What do you even mean by that? And lower weightclasses = midgets? Do you have any clue how insulting everything you say is? It's hilarous because I have watched Japan since about 25 years ago now. Then why are you clueless about kickboxing and talk like a 12 year old fanboy who just discovered the internet? I always speak the truth, so if you had a subjective opinion imo because of something, I must answer with my opinion. After the fall of Superkombat, the Romanian scene faced some problems, but now is stronger than ever. I didn't watch it entirely some years ago, but now it's entertaining. I don't think you appreciate too much the Romanian kickboxing, which is as professional now as the Dutch one. Romania has a full circuit, not just a league of midgets. 1. I don't agree at all that the Romanian kickboxing scene is as professional as the Dutch one, but even if it was that's not exactly a high standard. Dutch fighters may be great, but Dutch promotions operate mostly at amateur level. Every kickboxing promotion with any kind of high level Dutch involvement makes the promotion worse. Case in point; Glory. 2. I take the Asian circuit that focuses on lower weightclass elites over Romania's 'full circuit' of mediocracy any day. I'm pretty sure most kickboxing fans do. There is a certain percentage of fightfans that prefers heavier fighters, but from what I see the majority of people just want to see good fights. It's up to you what you are following, and you make free accusations like I am imposing in Holland what to write. Accusations? Just look at your activity on this forum. The vast majority of it is spam and pro-Romania propaganda. And not just here; Sherdog and MixFight just to name a couple of others. How insane do you have to be to subscribe to a Dutch forum when you don't speak Dutch and Google translate your updates just to spam a Dutch forum with Romania news that none of their members care about? Your obsession to prove Romania is the greatest upcoming kickboxing nation is 100% pure insanity. When Benny KOed Badr you came up with excuses. How is it an excuse to point out that Badr looked like shit when he clearly did? You know what's an actual excuse? Claiming Baya vs. Paraschiv was a split decision, because one of their judges was Dutch. Wouldn't that mean GFC is a corrupt promotion for hiring the guy in the first place? Don't you see how you're destroying your own reasoning with these strawman arguments? Now you said Paraschiv didn't win clearly, I will post the fight immediately Good, so everyone can see he didn't win clearly. and also with the punishment of Johannes Kaffa of Holland. So what does that prove? Nobody in the world knows this kid. One unknown fighter knocks out another one. Happens everywhere, every day. Most people don't turn it into breaking news. All I can say GFC are putting much better events than Melvin Manhoef with the WLF. You may have been upset on me, but at that time I spoke the truth. Opinions =/= facts. Ok, let's end the discussion here and get along. Nope. You don't get to have the last word with a wall of verbal abuse and then casually walk away from it on to your daily spam routine and next trainwreck novel post.
