That's good.
Catinas needs to fight already.

In the main event, well known Romanian lightweight Amansio Paraschiv takes on former Glory fighter Christian Baya in a five-round title fight for the Intercontinental Title. Both men are very experienced world-class fighters and it should be an outstanding contest.

The World Featherweight Championship will also be on the line when two of the best up-and-coming talents in the world of kickboxing clash as Moldova’s Petru Morari takes on Holland’s Jan Kaffa.

The only known Romanians on this card will be Amansio Paraschiv and Ionuț Popa. Petru Morari is from Moldova. Tudor Potoroaca also of Moldova living and training in Romania, but he just made his DFS debut recently (in empathic fashion though).
ARJ Trainingen coach Maikel Polanen is again supervisor.

This event is actually well timed as there are no Euro 2020 games tomorrow. Friday would have worked as well.
Might tune in for this one.

Surprised to see how heavy of a favorite Paraschiv is in the betting fixtures.
As far as I'm concerned Baya is the favorite here.

Tuned in about halfway through the show.
Baya vs. Paraschiv was easily the best fight, though honestly neither fighter looked at their best here.
It really showed that both hadn't fought in well over a year.
That said, good victory for Paraschiv after a close, competitive fight.

Paraschiv was really good and it wasn't a close fight in my opinion, but a very convincing display of probably 3 won rounds. He dominated a former Glory challenger. Popa should have also won UD against Blijd. But the supervisor is Dutch.
Did you see Morari's KO against Kaffa? He was dominating the fight anyway.
It was an event with fighters under Colosseum Tournament 25 and DFS 11, but which provided better than DFS 11. Colosseum Tournament 25 was highly superior and one of the best events I have seen in the last years.
A really nice show. Popa's fight was also good.

Yeah, but you're Captain Romania and extremely biased. Looking at it from a bit more distance this was clearly a close fight. Hell, even in Romania this was a split decision. The body language of the fighters showed they were both unsure as well. Obviously they always do the whole raise-your-arm-after-the-final-bell thing, which is supposed to help the judges decide, but really shouldn't do anything.
I thought Paraschiv was a little bit better overall, but defeating a 'former Glory challenger' doesn't hold as much value when that fighter looked like a shell of his former self. This wasn't the same Baya that showed up against Jauncey, Moiseev etc.
I did see Morari's KO against Kaffa, but the fights leading up to Baya vs. Paraschiv were very local level quality and didn't hold my attention for very long. This very much felt like a 'Gym A vs. Gym B' event.
That's not a bad thing; smaller local events are important to breed the next generations of talent, it's just that I'm usually not very interested in those fights. What made this event stand out was the main event, which was decent.
