We have a card and it's interesting (OP upated).
It doesn't feature any huge names/matchups and a Japan-only tournament for Bantamweight which I don't think K-1 ever had a champion for.
On top of that K-1's website now also lists a bunch of other weightclasses that I don't recall having seen before: - Super Heavyweight / 100+kg (Men) - 'Minimum' Weight / -48kg (Women) - Atom Weight / -45kg (Women)
So in addition to K-1 currently not having champions at -55kg and -67.5kg, I think we can expect a bunch of title fights for those new weightclasses.

The date has been changed to May 30 and the location has been moved to Yokohama due to the original venue being closed because of the state of emergency in Tokyo right now.

Yea I think its to circumvent covid restrictions in Tokyo I think they're offering to refund / swap out all tickets though and its only a 30 min or so train ride so not too big of a deal Btw Mao is out due to covid contact restrictions and has been replaced by Hagiwara Shuto www.k-1.co.jp/fighter/915/

Man this started early. When I tuned in Mio vs. Sugawara Miyuu was already halfway through. So I missed pretty much the whole tournament and will have some catching up to do. I really liked what was left of the card though. Kuroda Toma scored an awesome KO on Miburo Kazuki to take the tournament. While I don't like that Tsubakihara's fight wasn't a title defense, I did like the fight. K-1 needs to get rid of that whole champions in superfights nonsense, though. Question for karaevfan I guess; Why is Tsubakihara receiving hate on social media? The promo of his fight showed him getting disliked on YouTube. Is it just fanboys of Egawa Yuuki or did he say something controversial? Hayashi Kenta vs. Vitor Toffanelli was great. Just when I thought Toffanelli's movement is a bit too stiff to get Hayashi in trouble Toffanelli went and knocked him down twice lol. Hayashi bounced back though and pummeled Toffanelli who did everything he could to tough it out. Good thing the ref saved him from worse punishment.

People really hate Tsubakihara for the Egawa decision. Sadly his career is just cursed now which sucks cause he’s always been a good natured kid who isn’t even particularly an egregious runner

That's so stupid. I guess internet toxicity is a thing in Japan too.
Oh well, I hope Tsubakihara keeps shutting up the haters. Seems like a friendly guy.

When they are nice fighters, they just lack knowledge. I doubt a follower is also frustrated as personal life.
