UFC 180: Werdum VS Hunt - How do you rate Hunt's chances?

On October 21, 2014, it was announced that Hunt will replace injured UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez and will fight against Fabricio Werdum at UFC 180 for the interim UFC Heavyweight Championship.

With little preparation time and Werdum being the allround better MMA fighter, how do you guys rate Hunt's chances to actually take the belt?

I would give Hunt a realistic chance of knocking out Werdum. I dont think that would be such a shock, however a more likely result would be Werdum winning by a submission.

Hunt's takedown defense looked very solid in his last couple of fights. I think that Werdum might struggle to take it to the ground. However, Werdum is a very smart fighter, and he will probably get it there at one point. He also has a pretty solid chin and an always evolving striking game. It won't be easy, but if Hunt can keep the fight standing, get confident and let his hands fly, he can knockout anyone. War Hunt!

70/30 in favor of Werdumb. hes the more well rounded fighter and his striking has actually looked good recently. if it stays standing hunt can eventually catch something but I think Werdumbs striking is good enough to get Hunt to stop thinking of defending the takedown.... and get taken down and submitted.
