Really liking the date. Reminds me of FEG era's Final 8 events.

A bunch of matchups have been announced (OP updated).
No big fights so far, but it's good to see Tsubakihara back in action.

Quick Comments
I missed a bunch of stuff early on so I'll have to catch up on that, but here are my initial thoughts:
+ Overall this was decent card with some fun fights. + Wajima pulling the upset against Kimura. Early on I felt like Kimura might have been holding back, but then he seemed legitimately hurt and gassed. Either way props to Wajima for not giving Kimura the hattrick over him. From K-1's perspective this must have been the perfect scenario. + It was a little weird Kimura didn't get the mic after the fight, but I do feel like K-1 gave him a nice send off. + Gunji getting past Tsubakihara was a surprise to me, but then again it was super close. + Liked Hayashi Kenta's victory, but props to Fukashi for refusing to go down when he was clearly hurt. + Gonnapar picking up a win is always cool. + Anpo scored a great quick KO here, but it does make the drop in level below him seem very obvious. + Ishii, while lacking any kind of finesse and explosiveness in his striking actually looked pretty decent here. I don't see him winning a belt or anything, but there is some growth. + I thought Saho looked pretty good! + I can't speak for all the fights yet, but from what I saw there weren't any shenanigans going on with the decisions.
- While I did like the event, it was definitely a step down from the previous couple of K-1 cards. - This card needed K-Jee. Or rather, I needed K-Jee to be on this card! - Man do I feel bad for Saiga. It's like he can't catch a break. - Something I've mentioned multiple times before, but I won't shut up about until I see it happen: less is more. Less fights, more cards. Also, more meaningful fights. Some matchups seem like completely random filler even when they end up entertaining.
I'm wondering what's next for Kimura. He's turned into a KO machine, but will he be able to shine like that against the international top 10 (or even 20)? He DOES come off a 10 fight KO streak, but losing to Wajima here definitely is a step in the wrong direction. Either way I'll be rooting for him to do well. I always respect fighters stepping out of their comfort zone to challenge themselves and Kimura has a fun style.
Something I'm a little bit mixed on; while this event had less KO's than we're used to, the high amount of close decisions implies more competitive matchmaking and less mismatches. On the flipside, competitive fights aren't always entertaining.
I think that covers most of it for now, might add some comments after catching up.
