Then how do people explain Saki getting knocked out by a nobody in the UFC? Or Overeem getting knocked out by Bigfoot (and other non-kickboxers)? Or Bernardo getting knocked out by Gary Goodridge in K-1? I could go on.

You see, I don't agree at all with the notion that 'MMA striking is crap'. It's comparing apples to oranges. Striking in MMA is a very different game compared to striking in kickboxing. Or striking in Karate. Or striking in Boxing. They're all different sports and some fighters have more successful crossovers than others.

How about Giga has grown as a fighter?

His loss to Embree was in 2016 and - by the way - was a tournament final where Embree had a much easier first fight; Embree fought at-the-time 36 year old Lim Chi-Bin whereas Chikadze went up against Adamchuk.

And Giga still has quality victories in kickboxing (Adamchuk, VanNostrand, Ulianov, Boubkari, Victor Pinto).

Now, do I believe that Kickboxing has superior striking compared to MMA? Sure, just like Boxing has better punching than Kickboxing. Whatever you focus on tends to become your best quality.

But using a random loss someone had in another sport 5 years ago to make some elitist statement is beyond stupid, very childish and not something I expected from BeyondKick.
