Pretty cool that SK is returning.
Here's hoping it's a serious attempt and not a one-off Irimia is using to expand his showbiz network.
With the event only 6 weeks away we should get a card soon.

"Supercombat CEO Eduard Irimia confirmed the news to our top Romanian correspondent."
You know who!

Their one and only, literally.

So I've skipped through that big Dubai 'press conference' on Facebook, which looked more like some partnership event where everything Irimia said came across as a bunch of hot air to promote his brand.
Cristian Ristea was there and possibly a few other familiar faces, but I don't think a card was announced at all.

That's a big get for SK!
Of course it's not their kickboxing portion that's getting attention, but hey..

Happening next Monday, but gonna count it as this weekend since it's happening at the tail end.
Edit: we finally have a card listed on wiki (OP Updated).
There are a few standout names on the card, though I'm not sure about the matchups. Cool to see Jhonata Diniz is fighting. Are the Gashis on the card related to Elvis?
BTW Doumbé's opponent Emiev is not a bad fighter.

Just watched some fights and clips from this event.
Doumbé defeated Emiev with more ease than I was expecting. Monteur scored a brutal KO on Naït-Slimani. Diniz/Gashi was surprisingly competitive. Good to see Diniz coming back with wins in various promotions.
Overall production was good and fights were competitive.
It's crazy to me that they turned this into a PPV with zero marketing, somehow banking on Doumbé's name being enough to reel people in. Irimia is just copying Glory when what he should have done is plaster this event all over YouTube, making people take notice that SK is back. But oh well, I'm not a marketing person.
The event looked decent though so I hope they'll do more.
