Unfortunately Ciric is out with COVID, to be replaced by Shkodran Veseli. Bummer.
We do have a full card though, with the Enfusion portion being finalized (OP updated).
Guessing only the Rivals portion will be part of the Videoland broadcast.

I made a short predictions article about the Rivals 2 portion of the event: Predictions: Glory Rivals 2. During the coming weekend I will publish a big, in-depth interview with "The Albanian Warrior" Shkodran Veseli. I have not decided if I publish it on Saturday or Sunday yet.

Is it not an option to release it on Friday or something, to add to the build-up for this event?

These are the things I will have to really consider, and I will also consort with my production manager and SoMe specialist. 'Cause you are absolutely right: it's about getting as much traffic as possible (from posting the interview) - the question is, though, do we get the most traffic from posting it before or after the actual fight.
What do you guys think? And we have to remember that us hardcore fans are different from the regular Kickboxing fan.

I think it's the same thing with any event promotion; UFC, Glory etc. tend to go overdrive with promo material in the week of the event to get people hyped. It makes sense.
I'm assuming the interview contains coverage of Shkodran's upcoming fight with Semeleer. Releasing that after the event would make that whole part irrelevant, or at least less interesting when you're already aware of the result (especially since I believe it's likely he'll lose). Interest would be at a low point.
But then, I can't really say I have a clue about promotion and what really drives traffic. Just what would make sense to me.

Great points, thanks. It makes sense. I'm leaning more towards publishing it before the fight: if he loses the fight nobody wants to read the interview - or less people would want to.
Thanks mate.

This one also on youtube outside the countries they have distribution deals in. Think last one was just on gloryfights.com.

Enfusion not on youtube for rest of the world this time for some reason. Still, a free stream on facebook at least.

They had Bonjasky and Manhoef with Mark Schaaf in the studio doing pre- and post fight analyses and the presentation of it was pretty good. Having these guys speak Dutch and putting some effort into the production made it that much more of a satisfying experience overall. Some fun backstage interviews as well, including ones with Peter Aerts (who currently resides in Japan, but is in the Netherlands for surgery), El Bouni and Semeleer. I hope they can keep this up.

Fun fights. Seems to me like the viewership probably wasn't too big tho, just based activity on twitter, discord, forums etc.

To be honest the entire production, venue, people involved (ring announcer, commentators) screamed LOW BUDGET. The venue was extremely small - the size of a local Muay Thai or Kickboxing event in tiny Denmark, where I reside!! The skill level of the fights, minus the main event, was real bad too. Only watched so I could post results real fast on FIGHT SPORTS. I've never been a fan of Glory, since they've never really promoted great fighters on a steady basis - they came out all guns blazing, when they were a start-up, and burnt all their money. And they still haven't figured it out. Look at Enfusion: how hard can it be to copy what Edwin (van Os) is doing, and get the train rolling......?!
I am leaning more and more towards the idea that Glory is going out of biz real soon (again). Unfortunately.
PS: I've been to a shit loads of events in Holland: HUGE events in Zuid Halle and other venues in Amsterdam, which I cannot remember the names of. And the event last night looked like an amateur event compared to what we've come to expect on Dutch ground!!!!

Fun fights. Seems to me like the viewership probably wasn't too big tho, just based activity on twitter, discord, forums etc. I suspect the Rival cards won't ever do high numbers, compared to proper Glory events. PS: I've been to a shit loads of events in Holland: HUGE events in Zuid Halle and other venues in Amsterdam, which I cannot remember the names of. And the event last night looked like an amateur event compared to what we've come to expect on Dutch ground!!!! I dunno what to tell you man, because this literally was an Enfusion event and pretty much on par with - or better than - what you see on your average Enfusion event - just look at what came before this portion of the card. For what this was I thought it was surprisingly good. Also guys like El Bouni and van Belzen are solid. El Bouni has fought in all major promotions and has some big international victories under his belt. Not sure, but maybe your expectations were a tad too high for what this was. Have you seen the first Rivals event a couple of months ago? This was miles ahead of that. This whole Rivals thing isn't much more than a glorified cost cutting measure. My main issue with Rivals is its identity crisis: based on the name you'd assume they'd be selling this to the public as Glory fighters taking on other promotion's fighters (Enfusion, Rise, etc.) to see who's best. Instead, the Dutch broadcast team is selling this as some kind of a breeder league to see who's ready to fight in Glory proper, even though that makes zero sense as a lot of these guys have already competed in Glory's numbered events and some of them are already pretty big names to begin with. Of course Glory can't tell us they just want to give their guys fights while sharing costs with their partner promotions, while also somehow keeping their brand in the public's mind. Like I said before though, this was an improvement and over time they might figure out where to take this whole Rivals thing; hopefully in a direction that makes sense.
