The eleventh edition of the WLF chinese new year gala is happening this feb 3 and 4 in Tangshan China, it will be the first time since the 2020 gala having a solid international representation in Wu Lin Feng:

The highlight of the night-s will be the traditional 67kg 8 man tournament with Meng Gaofeng, Zhou Jiaqiang, Shang Xifeng and Han Wenbao representing China and Diego Freitas (Portugal), Giorgio Malania (Georgia), Mikel Sortino (Venezuela-Spain) and Capitan Petchyndee Academy (Thailand).

They also are doing this Wei Rui team vs Buakaw team China vs Thailand portion of the card with some solid young thais coming over to China, six fights in total, and Buakaw himself is expected to be in the arena.

The more consolidated chinese fighters like Wei Rui, Zhao Chongyang, Zhu Shuai and the star in the making: Huang Shuailu are going to have for the first time in years some foreign competition, Adrian Maxim is a decent contender for Wei Rui, but the other foreigners look like some gimmick fights. Now that China is open I expect to see more top talent like Capitan coming to Wu Lin Feng.

It's team vs. team, but will Wei Rui actually fight Buakaw as well? At this point Wei Rui should be a heavy favorite.
