Oh wow Chikh Mousa is getting a title shot already? He doesn't seem ready nor has he beaten anybody ranked.
Really makes the division look like Glory only has 5 people walking around, which I guess is kinda true. Also don't like how title challengers continuously get the home advantage.
On the other hand this is a great chance for Chikh Mousa while also being a good comeback fight for Petch.

Really just is a non-existent division outside of having Pet.
Good that they're going back to Essen at least. They had a nice lively audience there last time and guess Chikh Mousa was a part of that so here we are.

Love how Glory is focusing on Germany, I really hope Kickboxing gets kinda mainstream there and in France like is in the Netherlands... That is totally the way to go... Kickboxing will never be popular in the USA unless they sign the Paul brothers to kickbox or something like that. Really makes the division look like Glory only has 5 people walking around, which I guess is kinda true. Also don't like how title challengers continuously get the home advantage. They should bring Capitán Petchyndee to fight against Petchpanomrung, and also some chinese guys. The talent is there, and they should not be expensive.

It's not just Glory either.
After KOK got the DAZN deal they did an event in Germany last year and there's 2 scheduled for this year (plus a bunch of their "Dream Boxing" events). They've been to Germany before too, but nothing regular like it is now.
Enfusion has a couple events happening in Germany too, and a Rookies event.
There's a pretty decent amount of local events in Germany, but definitely looks like this year there's more European/international events that people might actually see.

It makes sense. Germany is a huge untapped market where other fightsports like Boxing have been popular for years. They just need more big names to emerge to follow up veterans like Leko and Kehl.
Unfortunately, Germany's most famous kickboxer is (probably) Michael Smolik..

I wonder if the 4 man tournament is still happening on this card, because we're 'already' at 5 fights.
