A bunch of fights have been added (OP updated).
Some things I'm hoping for: - At 17 fights, I hope this is it. It's a good card. Don't add a bunch more fights. - No hometown or otherwise BS decisions. - Come on K-Jee, just win this one.

Card looks good, but unfortunately once again it has blown up to a whopping 23 fights including the prelims.
K-1 could start trimming the flab by cutting out all these unnecessary catchweight bouts. Round them down/up to an actual weightclass or scrap them altogether. Catchweight bouts should have no meaningful impact on (internal) rankings or title contention.

Way too many fights on the card. Don't see the point to be honest.

Man, Japan consistently creates so many world class guys in the 57-60kg range. They've got a golden age going on there.

Way too many fights on the card. Don't see the point to be honest. Anyone who's read my ramblings regarding K-1 over the past few years knows that I 100% agree with this. K-1 has too many weightclasses and does too few events. At 10+ weightclasses and only 6-7 events a year, the result is large cards. Additionally they have belt holders in non-championship superfights and too many catchweight bouts. This only adds bloat to the cards. The solution is a combination of some pretty simple steps: - Reduce the number of weightclasses. - Hold more events. - No random superfights where champions aren't putting their belt on the line. - Less catchweight bouts. I say it's simple, but obviously it's easy to judge sitting on my ass looking in from the outside without my livelihood being at stake. Still, I'm not really saying anything outlandish here and surely K-1 higher ups are aware that they need to make their cards more digestible. My guess is that if K-1 is serious about going after international markets, we're going to see some structural changes starting in 2024.

No idea why K-Jee bothers anymore. He's a drinker who has a history of not training as hard as he should. He looked awful against Tanigawa almost a year ago. Nothing good was ever going to come of this.
Interesting that Latescu is fighting in GLORY soon.

It's unfortunate. He's suffered three one-sided defeats in a row now against fighters that IMO he could have taken just a few years ago.
If it's true that nowadays he prefers partying over working hard I guess it fits with his performances, but he's not doing himself any favors in the long run.
He's at an age where he can still turn things around, but he has to get behind that idea himself. It is what it is.
