Khbabez out, supposedly broken hand. Hope he makes a full recovery. Ouch, though; with all his complaining about components getting injured last minute, this probably won't go over well. Also it sucks, because I looked forward to this one and the fight being off really hurts the card IMO. Edit: Looks like he broke his thumb. |

A few episodes ago at Warrior Talk, Touchassie said he'd like to eventually move to Light Heavyweight and then Heavyweight. He has the height for it, but I'm not sure he's ready to carry that kind of weight yet.
Touchassie fighting Abena at this point reminds me of when a very skinny Badr fought Ignashov about 20 years ago; he had a good showing, but ultimately couldn't deal with the size difference and got knocked out.
Obviously we don't know if this will play out like that and it's definitely an interesting choice, but I don't like giving an 85kg fighter with a single Glory fight under his belt a title shot in a completely different weightclass.
It's better than giving a complete outsider an instant title shot, but it's not far removed. I read that Glory was also negotiating with Maslobojev, Amine and Latescu.

Okay so Chikh Mousa was apparently 66.6 kg really. No idea why they announced his weight after he's rehydrated for "ceremonial weigh-ins" I suppose, but everyone else's official weigh-in weights. Weird.
