Welterweight Championship BoutEndy Semeleer (c) vs. Anwar Ouledchaib (House of Glory winner) Not really just about this fight, but have to say I'm not a big fan of fighters getting direct title shots without having ever really fighting in the promotion. A promotion running monthly events should be able to think a couple moves ahead with their divisions and have enough activity in each division to at least have a challenger who's coming off a win in the promotion. Seems like specially 65 kg and the women's division are just complete afterthoughts.

Yeah, both the Videoland panel and Dutch fight community have been quite vocal against Mejia (among others) coming to the promotion and getting straight title shots.
Glory isn't the only promotion guilty of this of course, but it makes rankings and the idea of working your way up to the top seem useless.
To be fair, Anwar's three wins in House of Glory are technically victories within the promotion. On the other hand, they were his first three pro fights and now he's challenging Semeleer in only his fourth...

As an isolated case Anwar getting a title shot here isn't the worst thing. Just in general people who watch your events should be able have some clue about the fighters battling over the title and nobody knows Anwar unless they're Dutch and have watched House of Glory.

Dutch viewers will generally watch through Videoland and so far they've done a good job of integrating House of Glory cliff notes in their live event coverage.
Outside of that the job is more or less up to Glory and you probably won't get much more than a short video on one of their social feeds or a mention by Valtellini during the live broadcast.

Just watching the presser now. I'm okay with the 1 week push-back; The day before Christmas eve makes this feel like a bit of an early Christmas gift. Let's hope it delivers.
Having Anwar vs. Semeleer in there as the main event (?) is the ultimate return of investment for Videoland building him up in House of Glory. I don't see Anwar winning, but let's see if he can at least have a good performance against the champ.

Shame Glory falls back into their old habit of holding title eliminators - which Kehl vs. Billet was - only to take it away and now Kehl is a regular contender again. Yet at the same time Kaito got a title shot after a gift decision against Koprivlenski.
Oh well, good to see Kehl back in action at least.

Groenhart vs. Hristov and Touchassie vs. Kombou added.
Pretty good fights. I think Groenhart will struggle and Touchassie will have a good comeback from his first loss, even though I don't want to rule out Kombou completely.
All in all this card has turned out better than expected. I've seen some people around the internet giving it shit which, compared to the Grand Prix we were supposed to get is fair, but I still think this is an acceptable season ender.
Perhaps we're getting one or two more fights.

So we've had some changes to the card (OP updated): - Nordine Mahieddine is out with an injury and is replaced by Nabil Khachab who is now competing for a spot in the GP. - Cihad Kepenek's suspension is over and he replaces Khachab against Michał Bławdziewicz. - Women's Super Bantanweight matchup Nina van Dalum vs. Debora Evora has been added. - The order of fights has been shuffled. - First two fights are free prelims. www.glorykickboxing.com/news/glory-90-full-fight-card:0953d111-1061-4879-a464-99f0cb6bd17b
