Happening this Saturday.
Not the Grand Prix, but it's still decent and I'm looking forward to it.

Looks like Hammouche is out due to injury/ilness and they couldn't find a replacement so we have one less fight tonight.
Sucks for Galaz as this is like the 2nd or 3rd time in a row this happens. Hope he's getting compensated by Glory.

My thoughts:
The Good + This was an event of two tales: the first half was very fun, the second half was mediocre. Overall it's still a passing grade, but not quite the season ender we all were promised at the beginning of the year. + Semeleer shutting up the crowd. + Gotta love Hristov's humbleness. + Peposhi vs. Trindade was great. Peposhi getting his first win in Glory. Trindade not only surviving a crazy knockdown, but coming back with one of his own. The fight being very competitive. + Touchassie made quicker work of Kombou than I expected. Wonder who he'll fight next. + Kepenek vs. Bławdziewicz was fun. Not sure I agree with Kepenek getting the second round, but the end result would have been the same. + Pretty decent opening bout by van Dalum and Evora.
The Bad - While I liked Semeleer silencing the fanboys, it's hard not to feel a bit bad for Ouledchaib. This fight came too early for him like most people said. - Moroccan fanboys in the audience further cementing their status of being terrible people. - While I don't think Khachab vs. Filipovic was bad necessarily, Filipovic in particular should have done a lot better. Khachab for his part barely threw any lowkicks, which his trainer Said was pissed about lol. - I expected more from Groenhart vs. Hristov. The result isn't a surprise, but the fight was a bit too awkward/sloppy. Unfortunately, this may be it for Murthel. - Not a fan of tough guy act Beztati pandering to his crowd. Kehl has walked a tougher road, even if he may not be able to beat Tyjani at this point. - Not a terrible fight by any means, but Kehl vs. Hambaryan wasn't the most fun clash of styles to watch.
Additional Notes * I feel like they should have waited with announcing Rico entering the tournament until after Khachab qualified. * Bonjasky said Jamal Ben Saddik should have gotten a qualification shot over Khachab, but was challenged by Manhoef who trains with Khachab lol. * Bonjasky and Manhoef were a bit critical of Jan Frana for his reffing of the Kehl/Hambaryan fight: yelling for breaks from a distance, calling the doc for a minor cut etc. * Kepenek's "translator" had worse English than Cihad himself lol.

In an eventual second season of House of Glory, its winner should just get a Glory contract.
This reflects badly on Glory, Videoland, House of Glory and might ruin young fighters who get thrown to the lions too early.
During the prelims Glory showed a graphic marketing the fight as a Rocky story. I don't think they should want this.
In the studio Remy and Melvin had a long discussion about it; Remy isn't a fan of throwing young fighters to the lions, Melvin said it's part of the game.

Remy and Melvin taking jabs at each other, wearing Christmas sweaters. They actually wore Santa hats a few seconds after this lol.

Yea I was expecting the Moroccan crowd to go real silent, real quick once the fight actually started. They are lively crowd to have and good for their own but definitely not nice when it's not their own fighters. Think in general this Rico announcement wasn't handled very well. To be honest even Plazibat was announced better at the press conference yesterday. Guess Rico and the new Glory guy weren't around yesterday but were today for the event, so they just half assed it there today. In an eventual second season of House of Glory, its winner should just get a Glory contract. If it was a more established winner then fine, but this was a pretty expected slaughter here in a fresh pro vs Semeleer. Semeleer also has worthy opponents waiting to fight him so there was no big need to throw in some outsider.
