I've tuned in last night during Vargas/Ball, but the stream kept crapping out during Parker/Zhang so I watched Joshua/Ngannou this morning.
Man, Knockout Chaos indeed. Joshua brutally knocking out Ngannou is not a result I expected nor one Ngannou himself expected, I'm sure. While I was rooting for Ngannou to do well here, this was a redemption for Boxing since Ngannou gave Fury so much trouble in his Boxing debut.
Also, suddenly Joshua doesn't feel done anymore and he may have another serious run in him after all.
I just hope Ngannou is okay as he was out cold for what felt like minutes. I don't think he was ever knocked down/out before.
One has to wonder how PFL feels about the last two days: with Doumbé losing (on a technicality, but still) and Ngannou being put to sleep effortlessly (in another sport, but still) I can imagine PFL higher ups feel like they've wasted a bunch of money on those guys.
As for Parker/Zhang, I think it was more or less what people expected. If Zhang was gonna win it would have to be by KO, while Parker would win if the fight went the distance.

Can't help feeling bad for Ngannou. But he did fight like he believed his own hype after embarrassing Fury (switching southpaw in round 1??). Hope he can recover from that.
Joshua’s got to be praying Fury beats Usyk (not a foregone conclusion after his last showing). Looks like he has finally gotten over his gunshy-ness after losing to Ruiz.

Can't help feeling bad for Ngannou. Dude got paid 20million dollars for this fight. I think he will be more than okay.
