Too bad about Wolf being injured, however Puric should be a good enough replacement.
Overall from the names I recognise the field looks solid and I like the superfights.

Crazy KO! Too bad it happened against Sato.
First reactions from the people who saw the event are that it was crazy.

This one was pretty good actually. I'm not a big fan of this weight class (and below) at this moment, but most of the matches were cool. The best bout was the semi between Older Urabe and Hernandez.
Minoru beating Kaew was of course the highlight in terms of drama and fun. Fluke win, perhaps, but Minoru is one of the most likable showmen out there. Gotta feel happy for him.
Unfortunately, the tourny final was the most anti-climactic of all. Younger Urabe clearly didn't go into the full killer mode, particularly because Older Urabe was pretty much done before the match due to the damage from the semi. His right leg was shot. I doubt he will be able to walk for the next several days. So it wasn't particularly interesting as a fight, and on top of that, whatever was between them inside the ring, it was probably too personal for the rest of us to enjoy. The reactions from the audience were pretty subdued because of that. A fight between two brothers sounds like a drama full of emotion on paper, but the actual one didn't quite turn out that way.
Oh, and Masato as a commentator suggesting in a not-so-roundabout way that Sato should probably retire now was also a small highlight. He didn't say that in a negative way, but more of the you've-done-enough-for-the-sport-and-should-take-care-of-your-health-now way.

Yeah fights between friends/relatives often tend to be a bit toned down and more like sparring sessions. Other than that the event sounds and looks really promising.
Personally, I hope some heavier weightclasses will get attention in these K-1 Japan events, but it looks like we'll get a 55kg (and perhaps 50kg?) tournament first.

Yup, it was basically a semi-intense sparring session between a crippled guy and the other fighting at his 70%.
And they have no choice other than leaning towards lighter weights, really. Lighter guys are cheaper, and any weight class above 65 means that you'd have to invite a fair number of semi-expensive foreign fighters.
