Following the recent news that Serbian NBA player Darko Milicic, terminated his basketball career and start kickboxing career, once again we are receiving interesting news from the Balkan region. The Head of Events of K1 global, Ned Kuruc in a recent interview with serbian TV Pink, announced a joint project of K1 and this televison.
The K1 is planning to launch K1 Balkan section, which would be an addition to K1 Japan, K1 Azairbaijan, K1 Thailand … local K1 departments wich are already part of the K1 global. Cooperation between the largest Balkan TV, TV Pink and K1 Balkans would be primarily in launching the reality based tv show, with the participation of fighters from Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and surrounding countries.. The concept of the show is not yet known, but the formula is already several times proved to be very successful. Contender, The Ultimate Fighter, Enfusion .. are reality shows that were and continue to have a role in the promotion of Martial Arts.
After the reality program, next step planed by K1 Balkan, is to organize several events in Belgrade, the Serbian capital. If everything goes as its planed we can expect an interesting 2015 in Balkan region.
