Wow, lots of decisions. Was there only 1 KO during the 2 days of fighting?
Nice win for Cosmo. Would like to see the Hutnik fight as well.

I was on their first show here in Slovakia last year and as a referee on their "warm up" show in august. I was sure, that organisation will be top, but was afraid about fights. Those two shows were well organised, but fights weren't very entertaining. Not now. The hype before the event was HUGE. Billboards more than a half year all over the whole country, tv and radio spots, massive campaign on Facebook. Everything looked good. On the place was chaos, everything was tuning up during undercard fights, one hour before main program. Saturday was good, no big pauses or non fight programme between fights, but Sunday was really bad. Big pauses, symphonic orchestra, W5's chairman telling bullshit after each fight and so. Fights were good, tournaments were entertaining, superfights and title fights too. There were some not_so_good decisions, the worse in the last fight between Moravcik and Sicthman, but maybe i'm biased Everything was focused on TV, organisers weren't interested on people in audience (really, they own words). Because it was 2 day event, audience was empty, maybe 600-700 people. That's really low number, biggest fight shows in Slovakia had around 3500 people in smaller cities than Bratislava! Sundays fight were better, but people go to work on monday, so nobody from cities far from Bratislava didn't came. They watched it live on one of the slovak sport tv. There was an afterparty in the same hall, so organisers immediately after the end kicked everybody out, prepare the hall for party and so. But people get pissed and went home, so organisers take fighters, referees and staff to the party. They HAD to go, because they told them, money will be paid there It wasn't true, everybody was paid on monday. So the whole show was very poorly organised, maybe it looked ok in TV, but for people in audience it was fail. It's rumored, that whole event costs around 800.000 EUR. With this sort of money every big promoter in Europe can make an unforgetable event, but not Russians. They are spending on making custom tophies, custom ring, whole movie etc. Head of W5 had birthday on Sunday, so i think, all this was his birthday party.

Thanks for all the details, killlah.
I've watched a large portion of Day 1 and while production looked pretty good, I didn't like all those 'show elements' during intermissions like the fashion show, the dancers, the stage actors in medieval battle gear etc.

Yes, when it's fight show, i want to see fights, not the fashion show. But this is their style of work. W5 want to connect fight world with those show elements.
