Apparently this "event" is actually multiple events spread out over a couple of weeks: The following fights are scheduled for tomorrow (03-01), well before the UFC event as this is held in China, mind you: Kunlun Fight 2015 Middle Weight (70KG) 1/16 Finals Group A Semi-FinalsSittichai VS Murthel Groenhart Andy Souwer VS Jiao Fukai Super FightsIrina Mazepa VS Wang Kehan Taniyana Fumitaka VS Yang Jianping Andrei Herasimchuk VS Rico Verhoeven Ohama Yoshim VS E Meidi (she fought in K-1 just yesterday) Super Heavyweight 1/8 Finals Group ATomas Hron VS Roman Kryklia Tofan Pirani VS Steven Banks Super FightLerdsila Chumpairtour VS Wang Wanben Super Heavyweight 1/8 Finals Group A (I'm assuming they mean Group B, but misspelled it on the poster)Jahfarr Wilnis VS Alireza Karbasi Jairo Kusunoki VS Asmati It's not clear how the follow up events look but apparently the dates are this sunday (January 4th), saturday January 31st and sunday February 1st. Fights seem to include: Arthur Kyshenko vs Bai Jinbin Andy Ristie vs Aikpracha Meenayothin Robin van Roosmalen vs Dzianis Zuev Hesdy Gerges vs Alexy Ignashov Colin George vs Mighty Mo Cosmo Alexandre vs Li Yankun Other participants: Albert Kraus Simon Marcus

Man, with the lack of any English coverage and all these developments taking place in China, one of us might have to take up Chinese..

Sittichai-Murthel, can't wait for that. Hopefully leads to a Sittichai-Souwer final. Hope this show is available to view pretty soonish.
Also, RVR-Zuev and Aekpracha-Ristie later in the month are great fights too.
But, Hesdy? I saw his twitter account the other day and he appears to be free as a bird but is he able to travel whilst his appeal is ongoing? That is, of course, if all his legal troubles are behind him. I'm not sure.

Apparently he was dropped twice. Good thing I've slept through the event as reports say the streams were all horrible.

Just watched Verhoeven vs Herasimchuk. Verhoeven definitely didn't look his usual sharp self. I was surprised that Rico - who was able to go toe to toe with a beast like Ghita - was at times overwhelmed physically by the smaller Herasimchuk. The knockdowns in round 2 were more flash knockdowns/balance issues, but the fact that Rico hardly complained was pretty telling.
This development means that Glory HAS to sign Herasimchuk if they want to be taken seriously since he just made their whole HW division look like a joke.

K-1 should quickly step in and sign Herasimchuk and play it like Glory when they got Murthel :evilgreen: He's already a familiar face to the Chinese Just joking of course but let's see what happens.

Man, I never expected Ghita could act so butthurt and childish. He thinks he was clearly the better fighter and didn't agree with the decision? He should have knocked him out, end of story. What's even worse though are some of his Romanian fans. What the fuck is wrong with these people?

Ghita and his fans are delusional. Reminds me of those crazy Greeks screaming robbery every time Zambo lost back in the day.

Losing a decision with some guy named Herasimchuk... It makes Ghita, Zimmerman and Saki looks like a bunch of bums. Maybe he is just a bad match-up for those 3 fighters and that's why he won against them. After I saw this fight it is pretty clear that he doesn't stand a real chance against fighters like Londt, Hari,Jamal ben saddik and Benny. He won't be able to handle the pressure of this fighters. He will get overwhelmed. Styles make fights.
