This is an interesting HW fight: Wilder has stopped ALL of his 32 opponents within 4 rounds. Stiverne has lost only once and defeated Chris Arreola twice in his latest two fights, stopping him once.

Same here. Interesting HW fights at boxing are rare, so I'm jumping at the chance.

Main Card Results Deontay Wilder defeats Bermane Stiverne by Unanimous Decision Leo Santa Cruz defeats Jesus Ruiz by TKO Round 8 Amir Imam defeats Fidel Maldonado Jr by TKO Round 5
Amir Imam VS Fidel Maldonado - This was a crazy and awesome fight
Leo Santa Cruz VS Jesus Ruiz - I dozed off for a bit during this one, but I just watched it and it's definitely recommendable
Deontay Wilder VS Bermane Stiverne - This was a fast paced and good fight that was especially competitive during the first half when Stiverne was able to steal some rounds. Wilder outscored won all rounds of the second half, but Stiverne remained game and dangerous. Klitschko might have a problem on his hands with Wilder who proved he is not just a can crusher.
All in all a good night of boxing!

most important fight of Wilders life. if he lost he would have been dubbed a can crusher for life and would have never received another big fight imo. i didnt know shit about either of these guys but watching all the hype and talk made me understand what was going on and what was on the line. this was his career fight and he shined IMO.

i also loved when they interviewed Maldonado after the fight. interview guy asks question, points mic at guy next to Maldonado. guy says "he speaks english...." interviewer moves mic back to Maldonado. he answers. lmao.

Prediction: Wilder makes his maiden defence against something of a pushover, but live and in Primetime On NBC's Premiere Boxing Champions. Al Haymon must be loving this.
