The police found a gun next to him and sources seem to imply he killed himself.

Very shady story as Nyqvist was a big name in the Dutch crime scene and known career criminals have been gettin whacked like crazy over here for the past year or so.

I believe more recent than that. He definitely had pull even with Andurand in the picture.
Also, even behind bars he was in contact with Dana White involving Overeem's UFC deal. The recorded phone conversation with Dana White confirming it is still on YouTube.

That's what I'm leaning to. Despite all media outlets mentioning police and Ron's close ones heavily implying suicide, I really think he was offed and it was made to look like an accident/suicide. It seems too coincidental/convenient an explanation with the current wave of liquidations in the Dutch crime world.
