Benson showed some good heart fighting the bigger man. it wasn't working out too well the first couple rounds. the third he got that takedown and got the back quick. stayed very very patient. didn't get the finish. but knew how to get thatch down from there. he just needed one timed takedown in the 4th to put it away. got the back again and remained extremely patient. landed some good shots and the moment thatch tried to escape benson got the forearm under the neck and ended it. I wouldn't recommend anymore welterweight fights for benson but then he goes n calls out Rory Mac after that. geez. hes going to die. but damn I give him credit for having massive balls.

Yeah I read he was in trouble early on. Good for him he managed to pull through in the end.

Yeah I read he was in trouble early on. Good for him he managed to pull through in the end. he wasn't stubborn like some fighters are. the stand up just wasn't working. more fighters need to try to change the game plan when they are well rounded. benson did and he got a W. |
