King Mo vs Kongo, the greatest "what if" superfight of a generation, at long last the question is answered.

I like McGeary. hope he takes the belt from Newton. not interested in King Mo at fatweight.

i thought daley vs santos was a decent scrap. daley woulda killed about anybody else with the shots he was landing. and the main event wasnt too bad either. mcgeary had newton in quite a few bad spots. had newton in a mounted triangle end of round 3. got it with about 12 seconds. newton was totally saved by the bell.

Bummed about the decision. I had it 48-47 for Newton, just as Jimmy Smith Jr. (it's funny that I agree with his scoring for about 99% of the time) Very good sportsmanship by Newton though. I like that guy. I think he was a great Bellator Champ, because he is probably not good enough to really make waves in the UFC, but usually put on unique and exiting performanes at the Bellator Championship level. I might as well watch the fight again to see how 'realistic' it was for McGeary to win 3 rounds...
I'm also totally shocked about the lack of discussion when it comes to Fedor. He was shaking the winner's hand and posed in to the camera. It seems more and more to me that we might see Fedor in a Bellator cage anytime soon. Yet, nobody talks about it? Weird.

The moment he comes back he will be relevant again though.

he wasnt even really relevant when werdum was choking him and dan henderson was knocking him out. just sayin he had his day and it was in japan. he hasnt done much since then. no reason to think he will now.

Depends on how you define 'relevance'. Admittedly, the division on a global scale is so shallow and united within the UFC that Bellator couldn't even sign enough decent HWs to push him back into the top 5 or even top 10. But if Kimbo wins against Shamrock (as silly as that fight might be) and they're really pushing for a fight between Fedor and Kimbo, the ratings would be insane. Free TV + Fedor + Kimbo is a great combination. You can't deny Fedor's star appeall still. Oh, and only in Japan? I'm not gonna bite and tell you in detail how 'relevant' his beatings of Sylvia and Arlovski were, because you should know that anyway.
