Well, just left the event and all I can say is,it was a very very sad event. Had lot of expectations but even I was at Sakis side I am very sorry what happened to Spong. Hope he recovers fast. Sorry but I feel very sad and have not much to say about the event, Anyway, congrats to Saki it was not his foult that Spong broke his leg and he was not able celebrate the victory

I'm sad to read that, but I can certainly relate to how you feel. Don't get me wrong, there was some quality in this event, but overall it didn't live up to its potential and two of the main fights ending in horrific injuries - especially Spongs during the final - pretty much ruined it.

actually it was a sad event but it is also one of the events that we will remember for a long time. the best thing was the attitude of Saki after Spong broke his leg. if you check the video after Saki checking the low kick ( was able to hear the noise of his bone at the ringside ) he realized that it was broken and turned his back and holding his head with his hands with some bad feelings in his face. I assume Tyron's mother and sister entered the ring and Saki was always talking to them. Saki did very well while he was also been in his hometown and take good care for both of his opponents. ( off topic. which I actually expected by Cro cop where all the crowd was boing Remy at his retirement fight. crocop was just sitting in his corner )
anyway, some comments of the fighters ; Niclas Larsen vs.Steve Moxon Niclas impressed me a lot not only with the KO , his movement and speed was very good. the only bad thing in this fight was the late stopage of the ref.
Jonatan Oliveira defeats Atakan Arslan they anounced Ataka as the best in Turkey but dont have any hopes for this guy
Filip Verlinden defeats Israel Adesanya dont know why but I always liked Filip and glad that he won
Mourad Bouzidi defeats Randy Blake good to see Mourad winning again
Hesdy Gerges defeats Jhonata Diniz one of the most brutal fights in terms of low-kicks , Hesdy is just a master of it
Gökhan Saki defeats Nathan Corbett not to say much, it ended very fast but Nathan is one of the greatest fighters and hope that Glory gives him more chances
Tyrone Spong defeats Saulo Cavalari seemed like Spong gased even in he first round but at the end he was for e the better fghter with the clean shots
Danyo Ilunga defeats Andrei Stoica well, never liked Stoica due to SK and always said that they need to face bettor opponent. this time he did and look what happened.
Robin van Roosmalen defeats Marat Grigorian it was a very good and technical fight, I was not able to pick a winner, for me both of them won the fight
Gökhan Saki defeats Tyrone Spong already mentioned above
in general it was a good event with very sad accidents, hope Glory can do the same in the future
by the way, there were some fights at the corridor before the event started , didnt realised much but I guess some people with leather wests ( hells angels ) were involved in it.but it was not a big thing
