We have some conflicting reports as different tournament participants are being mentioned now: How are Leko and Oborotov in this?

If Badr wins this tournament he will be making less for fighting 2 fights on the same night than he would for one of his appearances at LEGEND.
Anyone know what he was down to paid for the aborted Londt fight?

I'm (wildly) guessing around 50k.

Thanks for that.
Badr stands to make 80+k per fight if he wins the tournament next week.
That's also quite a drop in numbers from this time last year. 500k for Zamedov II in May 2013 and probably the same for Ignashov III in November.

I didn't know he made THAT much at LEGEND, I was guessing around 250k a pop.

I'm reasonably sure that I got that number from the old board.
It may have been in $ but I'm pretty sure it was 500k.

The event will be broadcasted in Holland on RTL 7 (though probably with a slight delay) this thursday.
While the card is a bit weird and the tournament seems to be setup for Badr to shine wouldn't it be awesome if ANYONE BUT him won it?
Other than that it's cool to see Aerts fighting again in a fight that shouldn't put him in danger. Also, I'm kinda interested in Jaideeps and Douwes' fights.

Noticed a bookie I use has odds for this, they have Oborotov as a +140 under dog, might be some value there, Graham hasnt kickboxed in awhile.

Graham has kicked some ass in Bellator though, while Oborotov got his kicked all over the place. I see Graham as the only fighter to be able to give Hari somewhat of a fight if they meet. But who knows...

SPOILER ALERT! So the tournament went pretty much as expected: SemiFinals Graham defeats Oborotov (Extra Round Decision) - The only actually close and somewhat entertaining fight. Hari TKO's Leko in Round 1 (3 knockdowns) - Leko didn't look like he wanted to be there. Final Hari TKO's Graham in Round 1 (2 knockdowns) - At least Graham tried to put up a fight while it lasted. Full results are here mixfight.com/2014/05/Uitslagen-GFC-3-DubaiSo yeah as mentioned before, this event/tournament was created so Badr couldn't possibly fail and the fights were one sided because of it. Badr looked to be in somewhat better shape than his last two fights, but still was mostly swinging for the fences. Too bad he ran away from Londt, but yeah here he made a lot more money for a lot less work. Production of the event looked nice. Also, Peter Aerts tore his hamstring in the first minute of Round 1 against Dewey Cooper and thought to himself "Fuck it I'm fighting with a torn hamstring!". So he did and still managed to get a Draw while clearly limping through the whole fight. Peter Aerts' character is the best thing I saw at this event. Some interesting tidbits are that there will be three other tournaments and all the winners will join Hari in a final tournament to decide the 'ultimate' champion. Locations mentioned are Holland, Morocco, Turkey and the Final Tournament in Australia. Let's see.. VIDEOS
