To think that Zhuravlev went to a extra round with briedis and lost a split decicion in the fourth round is pretty impessive. Also very surprised that charr went out like that from that uppercut. The uppercut didn't look powerful enough to knock you out cold.

There was not much behind the uppercut, but the key points here were: - It looked to me as charr didn't read the punch correctly, as his muscles were not tight enough on time to absorb some of the power of the punch, just look at the snap of his head when the shot landed. - Charr fell directly on his head after the punch, witch i think was why he was out cold like that. This was good perfomance from Briedis

He was already out cold before he hit the ground and ring floor is soft enough to not permit this kind of things. Also he didn't hit directly the ring floor, he more scratched it with his face because he fall on the rope. It's weird because charr was considered to have an iron chin. At least I had some fun seeing Kadyrov face... Charr is his bud as well )

Yeah it looked like he was out before he hit the canvas. The way he fell down just kept him there a bit longer.
I was surprised by the result as well, that knockout was gold.

At least I had some fun seeing Kadyrov face... Charr is his bud as well ) Oh, his expression was gold Btw although Charr was loosing the fight in rounds, i believed that he will be able to comeback with knock down/knock out and this was just his strategy - to apply pressure to Briedis from the first few rounds and it worked. Briedis was overactive all the time and there was possibility to punch himself out. But Charr became frustrated in the 4th when he was caught with uppercuts. From there on he became more agressive. How do you think it would play out if Charr wasn't knocked out ? There were 5 rounds left.
