Yeah, they announced Aerts earlier on the TV broadcast. Well, "announced" is the worn word, they just presented the fight as Baruto vs. Aerts, no mention of JLB at all.
Apparently JLB pulled out when RIZIN reduced his purse last minute.

While I'm less than enthusiastic about all those veterans not taking their retirements seriously, I am kinda excited to see Aerts back in action, more so than I was about JLB.

I wonder what kind of shape Aerts'll be in. Is he even training these days? Nowadays he's even more injury prone than say, 5 years ago. However, he had a training camp with Jaideep in Okinawa so he should be in at least somewhat decent shape. |

I wonder what kind of shape Aerts'll be in. Is he even training these days? He's got his own gym and he's fighting a sumo wrestler, I think that he'll be in OK shape for that. That being said, MMA rules don't do Aerts well. |

I'm really dreading seeing what the new production is going to be for this alternate universe mid-2000s Dynamite card. After jumping through whatever hoops needed to use the PRIDE theme they're starting all over again and they're even going to use the funny Sengoku ring announcer.

The Asen-Kron fight's been changed from the 11th to the 8th fight. Apparently to give KID enough time to second Asen then get from Saitama to Yokohama quick as for his fight with Masato.
