I've heard that Spong has pulled out of this fight due to injury. Can anyone spread any light on this. There seems to be a pattern forming with his last couple of fights all being cancelled.

Yeah, that's the third fight he's missing due to injury in a row (2 WSOF fights, 1 BKB fight).

I know he's had a few boxing fights since and I don't want to jump to conclusions, but it kinda feels like Spong's career effectively ended when he broke his leg against Saki.

Here's hoping he can and will come back strong.

I was kind of hoping that he kept cancelling due to negotiations with the UFC.
It will be a shame if it's the end of his career but it's a tough occupation to have.
