I recently found about this by accident. Anybody ever seen this, or better yet know where to find it online? I've searched high and low and the best I can come up with is 3 photos of the night in question, with only 1 of these depicting the actual exhibition. It went down in Miami Beach, Fl and Wallace's recollection of it, via an article in Black Belt some years later, makes it read as if he felt that he had to hold back a bit but still managed to wobble Hearns with a left hook! I think I've got to call BS on that one! Another reason that I would like to see it. Don Wilson appeared to tweet a link to a video of it late last year but it's been removed. Interesting stuff.

Interesting thread! I did some digging and here's some background info on both fighters and the event: Tommy HearnsNickname: The Hitman/ Motor City Cobra Thomas "Tommy" Hearns (born October 18, 1958) is an American former professional boxer. Nicknamed the "Motor City Cobra" and more famously "The Hitman", Hearns' tall and slender build allowed him to move up over fifty pounds in his career and become the first boxer in history to win world titles in four weight divisions: welterweight, light middleweight, middleweight, and light heavyweight. By later winning a super middleweight title, he also became the first to win world titles in five weight divisions.Boxing Record: 61-5-1 (48 KO's) === Bill WallaceNickname: Superfoot William "Bill" Louis Wallace (born December 1, 1945) is an American martial artist who was a Professional Karate Association world full-contact karate champion. He was the Professional Karate Association (PKA) Middleweight Champion kickboxer for almost six years.Kickboxing Record: 23-0-0 (13 KO's) === Source: www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.632367810135405.1073741848.125489727489885&type=3Thomas Hearns vs Bill Wallace - Forum Discussion on BoxRec:boxrec.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=160770It appears themagi is not the only one looking for this fight: It's probably Dave Inman, a guy also doing inquiries on Facebook for footage of this fight. I guess the best way to find out more at this point would be to try and contact either Dave Inman or Don Wilson via social media.

This is the Black Belt article from the Februari 1990 edition: Source: Google BooksEdit: Just for clarification, the black & white picture is not from the exhibition fight as neither fighter is wearing protective gear like in the pictures with color. Also, Hearns wore shorts.

From 2008-2012, I collected all of DREAM's events, trailers, VTR's etc. A few years back, HDNet partially aired a DREAM event missing out four fights. Over the next month or so, they placed three of the missing fights on their Youtube channel but for some reason they chose not to air or upload the Masakazu Imanari-Keisuke Fujiwara fight. Seeing that I just needed this one fight to complete my collection, I thought I would sign up to Twitter and send them a message asking them if they could upload the fight, if they had it. No reply. So I tried them again. And again. And again. Then I changed my tone and asked them if they could just let me know if they had it. Radio silence. Seventeen (17) tweets and four months later, I gave up. Those c*nts didn't even give me a "f*ck you, loser." type of response, they just ignored me. If I had given them some powder puff "I love your channel, how about a retweet?" or "my brother has got two heads, one arm and a single lung and your station is the only thing that gets him throught the day" message, I bet they would have replied and probably retweeted it. I even went as far as to tweet their CEO guy, Andrew something or other, and that prick ignored me too.
My days of chasing down fights on social media were over before they even really begun.

Lol, what assholes!
As for myself, I've been looking for a full video of Nobuaki Kakuda VS Musashi which happened at a K-1 Las Vegas event in 2003.
Finding the fight itself and even an edited version of the whole event is no problem. I'm talking about a version that includes Kakuda's infamous Rocky IV speech. I actually used to have that footage on an old computer, but when it died it took the footage with it and now it's become rare.

You should have mentioned before and I would have put you in contact with Steve Armstrong (if you don't know him already). A guy from the US who moved to Japan, and as luck would have it during his down time he recorded EVERY single K-1 event in full during his time there (1996-2004) and slowly but surely he started to upload fights to Youtube individually. I was lucky enough to get to chat to him and asked if he had the full versions, and I stressed the word "full", of Aerts-CroCop, Aerts-Van Dams, Skelton-Filho and Leko-Ignashov from 2002 F16 and he had every single one and uploaded them for me! I could not believe it!
Alas, he's had to remove 90% of what he uploaded I think (he's at least stopped uploading them for the last 2-3 mths), I'm guessing it was due to the K-1/UFC rights issues that came up recently.

Interesting.
Well, I haven't put too much time nor effort into looking for the footage. It's just that none of my go-to locations on the web gave me any results.
