UFC China sale coverage seems to continue to be done by people seemingly allergic to doing any research. Companies publicly in joint ventures being "surprise late additions" to the deal, 0 background, old information, seen this called a vanity purchase for the Chinese etc etc.

Interesting that Silver Lake is in the deal. They are predominately a tech-focused PE group. Seems like this in particular is a doubling down on their IMG deal.
You could easily see Lorenzo pitching Fight Pass as a sort of Netflix for fights to these guys (inclusive of Kickfighting now that they have Glory SFS and in-theory the old K-1 library). I'm sorta conflicted on that. As much as I would like to see combat sports develop a more certain financial base, that would extend UFC's influence into kickfighting.
