I missed BisKing's ascent because I got called in for a night shift, I accepted another one this weekend not realizing it was this fight lol I will try my best not to see any spoilers. I didnt even try to avoid them last time because I was expecting Rockhold r2 TKO. Then I saw a picture of Bisping with the belt and I was like WTFFFF.

That jumping knee Bisping landed on Henderson was beautiful as well. I wonder if Henderson will truly retire now, as he was able to give the champ a run for his money. Good to see Mousasi's performance match his talk for a change. Vitor didn't look like he stood much of a chance at all. OSP went out in a scary way. He looked very timid. Good to see Struve getting a sub and Bektic had an impressive main card debut as well. @ h: digging the avy!

Great title fight! The downfall of Hendo's strategy is that when you eat pitter patter shots for 4 minutes, the judges are reluctant to score 10-8 rounds when you land a crazy H-bomb at the end. Also there is an argument for Hendo winning R5 and thus the fight based on the takedown. This fight is much like Machida-Rampage: One guy got beat up, the other won more rounds.

I think that's the general thing with (high profile) title fights: as the challenger you really need to go the extra mile to convince everybody you should be wearing the belt. As long as the fight is close enough to the point where a reasonable case can be made for either fighter, I personally don't really have an issue with the current champion getting the nod. Burden of proof is and always should be on the challenger, just my two cents.

I scored it a draw 47-47. but bisping being champ he was going to get he nod in such a close fight. 2 rounds in favor of hendo being 10-8 and 10-9 rounds 1 and 2. I thought he lost 3,4,5 9-10. id have loved for hendo to go out as champ. I mean who wouldn't have loved it? but it wasn't meant to be. hell of a career though when you look back at what hes done and for so long. its gonna be weird not having dan Henderson on an mma card somewhere.
