Indeed there were Obviously spoilers follow Quarter Finals - Suzuki Hiroaki defeats Hideki via Extension round Unanimous decision - MASAYA defeats Charles Benett via 2R 2:04 TKO (Referee stop after unanswered punches) - Zakaria Zouggary defeats Yamaguchi Yuuto via 1R 1:27 TKO (2 downs, finished with a backhand blow) - Taplon Hadesworkout defeats Mizuochi Yosuke via 2R 0:40 KO (Right hook) Semi Finals - MASAYA defeats Hideki via 1R 2:07 TKO (Towel thrown in) [Suzuki was unable to advance to the semis given suspicions of a broken orbital; given that SB has no reserver system Hideki was obviously unfit to fight and collapsed from low kicks early] - Zakaria Zouggary defeats Taplon Hadesworkout via Unanimous decision (30-27, 29-27, 30-27) [Taplon had a point deducted after hitting Zakaria with a kick while he was grounded, Zakaria scored a shoot point in R2] Finals - Zakaria Zouggary defeats MASAYA and becomes the S-Cup champion via 2R 1'14 TKO (3 downs, finishing with a jumping knee) Single fights - Murata Makiaka defeats Nakamasa Yoshihiko via unanimous decision (30-25, 30-25, 30-26) - MIO defeats UnionSyuri via 6R decision (10-9, 10-9, 10-9) - Naito Daiki defeats Seiki Ueyama via 3R 2:14 KO (left hook) - Andy Souwer defeats Miyakoshi Souichiro via Unanimous decision (30-28, 29-28, 29-28) - RENA defeats Kinberly Novaes via unanimous decision (30-28, 30-28, 30-29) Fun event. Good win for Zouggary who should REAAAAALLY be picked up by Glory or Kunlun soon (I expect politics prevent him from going to K-1 Japan). A shocking upset which saw Top 5 in the world kickboxer Charles Bennet somehow losing to SB Japan SLW champ MASAYA. Of course, some minor controversy behind this one as MASAYA continues to deny allegations that he is actually a result of a failed fusion dance between Masato and HIROYA. Rena continues to pick up steam and promises to fight for RIZIN at NYE. Naito Daiki defended his 55kg belt and has demanded to fight other champions at that weight class
