6 Hours left until the fight. It will be pretty interesting one.
Kovalev is undefeated in 31 fights, WBA, IBF & WBO champion, 2014 fighter of the year, they consider them as the #2 pound for pound best fighter in the world, has freaky power and K.O. ratio and actually has some pretty good technical skills.
Ward is undefeated in 30 fights, former super middleweight champ, 2011 fighter of the year, considered as the #3/#4 pound for pound best fighter in the world. He is not known for killing people like Kovalev, but is very technical and strategic fighter.

It turned out to be interesting fight. Kovalev dominating the first half of the fight, dropping Ward in the 2nd round. After the 6th Ward comes back with some body shots, slowing Kovalev down and winning the later rounds. I scored it as 114:114 draw fight, but it looks like the local factor played the final word here (the fight was held in US, witch is Ward's territory) and the judges gave the fight to Ward.

Tough fight to score, especially in the later rounds when they were essentially wrestling as they boxed.

For the people that saw it, was it entertaining?

Just the fact that those guys were both A Class boxers in their prime made the fight entertaining. You just expect some high level stuff from them and they have the chance to deliver it against opponent who is actually on their level, cuz most of the time they are good enough to make 90% of their opponents look like C or D Class fighters that have no business inside the ring with them.
Honestly, if this was just a fight between two random guys, that showed what they did at the night, i would not find it so entertaining. The thing that helped with the entertaining part was also the turn around of the fight, Kovalev dominating the first half, while Ward not giving up, continues to do his thing and stick to the game plan comes back and wins most of the second part.
They are talking about 2017 rematch now, witch should definitely happen, keeping in mind that counterversial judges decision.

If they were two random guys I would say the first 4 rounds were entertaining and the rest was too clinchy, but considering both guys are so elite it is a very fun fight.
