He's a decent regional talent (27-6-2) who I think might be competitive vs. Spectu, but I don't give him that much chance of winning the tournament. A solid Koshien grad on the level of say Hiroya or Saiga but not Urabe or Noiri. Big Bang Champion Wins over Urabe Hirotaka (in the 63kg K-1 tournament), Ozaki Keiji and Oishi Shunsuke. Losses to Urabe Koya and Yuki. If they were gonna go with a Japanese Koshien guy, wish they got Ishida Katsuki instead. He's picking up a lot of momentum recently (undefeated and picked up the MA Kick belt) and has voiced his wish of fighting in K-1. |

Can't say I'm a big fan of Spetcu. He's serviceable though. I have seen a Romanian guy on Sherdog try to convince me that he is the greatest thing since sliced bread and that its an atrocity that he's not in Glory. Not impressed? |

Well within the next year we'll see what's what with him. K-1 and think he is in the RoH tournament too so bunch of fights of mid-high level fights. Shouldn't lose first fight here if wants to have any claim.

I have a feeling it's the very same person that has been banned here multiple times under various 'identities', his current one on Sherdog starting with a B and ending with a T. |

Fun to watch from the sidelines, but great to actually have mods to get rid of that toxicity before it festers me thinks. |

- Uehara Makoto vs. Ibrahim El Bouni
- Hinata vs TBA
Its a SHOCKER that Hinata managed to get up on K-1 Japan. His inability to fighter for them (and his resulting whining about it) has been a fixture for a while. I'm interested in seeing whether this means he cut ties with his gym or if it indicates a sort of detente between K-1/Krush and its competitors.
I hope its the latter. Takeru vs. Tenshin. Gotta happen.

Interesting to see them getting a more serious opponent for Uehara. Should be doable though. El Boustati lost to his first serious opponent in Verlinden, no matter how hard he screams 45-0.

 www.k-1wg.com/19064Looks like Uehara is actually fighting Ibrahim El Bouni, which kinda makes more sense since at Enfusion El Boustati's fake record will remain protected until the inevitable happens and someone puts him to sleep. El Bouni is a dangerous opponent though. Maybe not as experienced as Uehara, but he's certainly racked up some impressive wins in the local circuit over the past two years or so. |

Completely OT but El Boustati talk triggered me  He is very good nothing against the dude...the talk around him is still so overboard. He did absolutely lose to Verlinden, who had convincingly lost to Adesanya etc. so drawing any kind of comparisons just doesn't work out. Wish people just calmed down on him just...just a tiny bit. Nobody is ducking him and same as for the lighter Enfusion league guys it makes 0 sense to bring the guy in to fight when next year he'll be tied up for 5 or however many fights in another Enfusion League. "Why doesn't Glory sign this that and the other Enfusion fighter". Well they even tried with Barlow and you saw how that went, "no time to fight in Glory". |
