It is out of question actually. The fight is in GLORY, and Rico is GLORY fighter. Not only that but GLORY Champion. Badr is just a guest. We all know the story of the GLORY controversial judging, don't be surprised if Badr gets robbed in favor of GLORY protecting their champion's record.

Some big names of kickboxing have given their predictions in the Dutch press. Quick translation below: 1. Sem SchiltIt doesn't really matter to Schilt who wins on December 10th: "I've beaten them both, so whoever wins, it only makes me stronger." Schilt finds it difficult to predict the result of the fight: "But that's the beauty of this matchup." He thinks the longer the fight goes, the more it works in Rico's favor: "This is due to fitness, but also Badr's mentality. He has a short fuse and even when things seem to be looking up, the situation can go south real fast. That is a thrilling aspect. Rico needs to get Badr riled up, to see if he can control himself. It doesn't take much for that to happen." "Badr's quality is that he aims for a knock-out. He has courage and at times even goes forward with a low guard. That's his strength, but also his weakness. He is prone to frustration. That's not the case with Rico, but if you pressure him he has trouble with it. The question is, can Badr manage to do this without losing his cool". 2. Remy Bonjasky"Taking all the pro's and cons into account I give Badr 51% and Rico 49% to take it. If Badr has trained like he used to back in the day I think he'll take it. Whoever is in superior shape that day will decide it." According to Bonjasky Rico has to be smart and have the courage to wait for the right moment. "Badr is too strong, fast and has every tool to be the best. Only thing he has never proven it. He has pretty much beaten everybody he ever wanted to, but he never won the most important title, the K-1 title. I won it three times, some Dutchmen even four times, but Badr not even once." Bonjasky thinks Rico has a good closed defense, but not a "10" in his fists, legs or knees, but more like a "7". "But Badr does have that, he has a "10" in his fists, maybe an "11". His defense is weaker though." "Rico has been fighting regularly, Badr hasn't. Badr has the firepower in his fists to end it in one round though." 3. Gökhan SakiSaki estimates the chances 60 to 40 in favor of Badr Hari. "Badr is a special case. His technique and ring smarts are huge. Quality and experience wise he's too much for Rico." Saki does think however that Badr's ringrust might play a role in the fight. Saki about Rico: "Rico is not an exceptional fighter nor a natural. Technique and quality wise he has weaknesses. However, he is a very hard worker which helps him too, to develop. He has good foot movement, despite being a heavyweight. He's had a ton of fights and is very fit at the moment." 4. Ismael Londt"Badr has really good timing. Who will win? At first I was convinced Badr, simply because I find his fighting style spectacular." Londt admits. Due to the preparation he now estimates it at fifty-fifty. "Badr has sparringpartners who have a lot of respect for him and are basically punching bags. Rico spars with the big boys. He is more fit and very determined. I expect either an early knock-out for Badr, or a victory for Rico if the fight goes the distance. Rico can get desperate if the fight takes longer than a round. He'll go for the kill and might not be able to keep that up for a long time." 5. Peter Aerts"Badr will chase the knock-out for the first two rounds. He's dangerous and will really give it his all." www.ad.nl/andere-sporten/grootheden-kickboksen-voorspellen-wie-wint-badr-of-rico~a34f3dc2/Below are the results of a poll that accompanied the article and is based on over 17.000 votes: www.ad.nl/binnenland/wie-wint-kickboksgevecht-badr-hari-of-rico-verhoeven~ad1046ed/

I thought Hari was going to spontaneously combust at the end of the weigh in. He was snorting away like an old rhino.
As for the fight itself, I think Rico will win inside two rounds.

I have a new prediction for tonight. Verhoeven's hearcut will flyaway after the first time Badr lands a punch. It will get spooky.

Looks like I predicted 7 out of 14 winners right (although I was off on the method in some of them).
50% is not a great score, lol.

Do I get credit for saying Rico would KO Badr? Technically?

Do I get credit for saying Rico would KO Badr? Technically? I think you do. A TKO is a TKO. Hari broke his hand because he made a mistake and didn't throw that punch properly. Now, if it was a cut, than that would have been another story. But this is a legit TKO.

I thought it was pretty obvious the FIRST knee in the clinch from Rico did it, it landed exactly on his elbow and that surely did the damage.

The knee landed on Badr's abdomen not elbow, you can see it very clearly on the replay. But it is a legit TKO for Rico because like I said Badr made a mistake and didn't threw that punch properly so he paid for his mistake. Legit TKO win for Rico.
