Watched it in slow motion and you are right, it doesn't looks like it touched the arm. When i watched it at full speed i was sure it landed on the elbow and then passed towards the abdomen. I don't even know when and how Hari managed to brake his arm

Yep, it was because of the punch he threw. It was incorrect and overextended.

Thing is, we don't know for sure what caused the injury. The foundation of it might have been blocking (one of) Rico's kicks in Round 1 and throwing the overextended punch might have been the straw that broke the camel's back.
To me it seems more likely to be due to an accumulation of damage.

To me it seems more likely to be due to an accumulation of damage. After watching the fight again i am on the same wave now. He blocked a couple of kicks with the same hand, overextended the arm, plus the fact that he was inactive for more than a year and was not in training for long period of time, in this way the body takes alot of stress to adapt to the hard training again and the new nutrition. Man, that was really fucked up result. All the hype and the waiting for the fight were for nothing.

Oh, boy, Badr was not good at all! Did you enjoy him? Because IMO he was the same fighter from Cecenya, only better prepared physically.

Actually in my opinion he won the first round and was better technically than verhoeven. But yeah, this is his new style of fighting. Footwork and technique in the cost of power and agression. Now that he has kids to take care of and educate he wants to keep his brains and play it safe in order to not get hit that often in the head (this is how i explain it myself). He also said it in the intervie after the fight 'this is a dangerous sport and i have kids to take care of'. His trainer also said that in some interview months ago that Hari wont fight with the same style anymore.

Badr was definitely doing great and he clearly won the first round. He can surely win against Rico if he would fight regularly.
