Spong fought another 0-15 fighter. It's the second 0-15 fighter that he fights in less than a month distance. He also has programed for his next fight on 26 june a guy who is 2-5.
This is getting ridiculous already. Someone like kyotaro who has nowhere near the boxing of Spong fought killers since his 5th fight , spong is in his 8th fight and keep on fighting guys that are 0-15.... I don't understand why he is saying that he is aiming for the HW title soon. He will never get anywhere with this kind of fights. He losess precious time and will never evolve this way.

It's not listed on BoxRec, so either they still have to update it or it was unsanctioned/under modified boxing rules.
Either way, I was talking about this very topic with h recently and I absolutely agree.
Had you told me a few years ago that both Kyotaro and Spong were moving into boxing I would have probably picked Kyotaro to pick the easier route of record padding, but here we are. Spong as a boxer, thus far, has established a pattern of fighting 2-3 fights in rapid succession, followed by -too- long breaks and the guys he fought have been mostly amateurs and/or jobbers. I hope that once he reaches 10-0 he starts doing some step up fights.
As for now, BoxRec lists him as being scheduled to fight on both the 26th and 27th and while I believe he can do two fights in one weekend with opponents of this level, it probably means his opponent isn't finalized yet.

Alexander Povetkin defeats Andriy Rudenko by Unanimous Decision
Jeff Horn defeats Manny Pacquiao by Unanimous Decision
Bit of a surprise that Pac-Man lost, but perhaps just another confirmation that at 38 he is really past it.

They will probably rematch. If Pac loses again he should go back to 140. He wont be so outsized.

Unfortunately Loma is scheduled to fight a guy who stands no chance. Hopefully his fight after that will be Rigo, who recently said he was willing to move up to fight Loma.

Wladimir Klitschko is retiring and got a classy reaction from Deontay Wilder Probably the best time for him to hang them up.
